Subscription & Upgrade Policy
- Full and Demo versions
Demo version adds watermark to each recorded/converted video. It also displays nag screens. Full version has no restriction on use (no watermarks, no nag screens). You can always download current Demo version from our download page. You need to purchase a license to download a Full product version.
- Major and minor upgrades
A major upgrade is defined as a release with a different major version number, such as 1.0, 2.0, 3.0, etc. A minor upgrade is defined as a release with the same major version number, but the minor or build number have increased; for example, if 2.0 is the major upgrade, then 2.0.1, 2.1,3, 2.2.1, etc. are all minor updates of 2.0.
- Full version license
When you purchase ScreenVirtuoso PRO/Standard, you get the license + FREE one-year subscription.
It means you will receive all minor upgrades and all major/minor upgrades released within the period of subscription. You also get all minor upgrades for the major version number you purchased.
For example, if ScreenVirtuoso PRO 3 was the current full version at the time of your subscription, you are entitled to download ALL ScreenVirtuoso PRO 3.x versions. You can also download ALL future releases (4.x, 5.x etc.) within the period of your subscription.
- Subscription renewal
A renewal gives you the option to extend your subscription for an additional year. You must have a license for the product you are purchasing a subscription for. There is no obligation to renew your subscription. You can use the products for as long as you wish. And you can renew your subscription whenever you want to start receiving the latest versions for another year.
Subscription renewal costs 50% of the product price.
- How it works
When you purchase a license you become a registered customer. As a registered customer you will receive an e-mail with your license number.
To access downloads you need to log in with your license number at Private Area
If you enter a valid license number, the next page will display all available downloads. Click the link to save file to your local disk. When you renew a subscription, you will receive a new license number by e-mail.
- License number restore
If you have lost your license number Contact Us and tell us your name and your order number. We will send you the license number by e-mail.
- Old serial numbers
If you purchased ScreenVirtuoso 1.x, 2x, 3.1x your serial number has different format, for example:
Old serial #: N2OQE3-4MHZ9D-RR2TQ4-4U59YY-D004D4-7ATRGV-W6TWTC
New license numbers look like:
New license #: fa939ay83175defc4600a88b2666c98b2666ce
Contact Us to get a new license number for FREE. Provide us with your order ID or your old username/serial #.
We will issue you a new license number with properties Date: Your Purchase Date, Major Version Number: 3 (see explanation above). It means you get all ScreenVirtuoso Standard/PRO 3.x for FREE even if you purchased our software a long ago!
